SOPSOLAR - INVITED TO A RECEPTION AT THE HOUSE OF LORDS BY BPVA--SOPSOLAR - RECEPCIÓN EN LA CÁMARA DE LOS LORES INVITADO POR BPVA

December 11, 2013 SOPSOLAR was invited to the reception of the British Photovoltaic Association, chaired by Lord Adrian Palmer.
An honor for SOPSOLAR having the pleasure of attending the reception at the House Of Lords in Westminister, and being amongst the most prominent representatives in the industry.  One of the highlights of the visit was the speech by The Rt Hon Greg Barker MP.
Gregory Barker, Minister of State at the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC), revealed a number of plans are now in the pipeline to ensure 2014 sees a resurgence of demand for small and mid-sized solar arrays.  Pinpointing his greatest challenge next year as knocking down barriers for the deployment for medium-sized solar arrays, which are usually installed on commercial rooftops, or community centres, schools, and church halls. "My greatest challenge for 2014 in solar is to really generate that mid-sized market," Barker declares.  He also said that the UK has become a “go to” country for solar investment, placing themselves firmly in pole position to compete in the global race for green growth having deployed 3GW of Solar PV until the end of 2013.
SOPSOLAR are delighted to be included in the UK´s success and are looking forward to some exciting projects during the coming year.

El pasado 11 de Diciembre 2013 SOPSOLAR fue invitado a la recepción de la Asociación Fotovoltaica Britanica, presidida por Lord Adrian Palmer.
Un honor para SOPSOLAR además con un aliciente que fue el poder asistir a la cámara de los lores, entre lo mas destacado fue el discurso del ministro Greg Barker.
Gregory Barker, Ministro de Estado en el Departamento de Energía y Cambio Climático (DECC), reveló una serie de planes están ahora en preparación para asegurar 2014 ve el resurgimiento de la demanda de las pequeñas y medianas instalaciones solares. Precisar su mayor reto del próximo año como derribar las barreras para el despliegue de las instalaciones solares de tamaño medio, que normalmente se instalan en los techos comerciales, o centros comunitarios, escuelas y salones de la iglesia. "Mi mayor reto para 2014 en el solar es generar realmente ese tamaño medio del mercado", declara Barker. También dijo que el Reino Unido se ha convertido en un " go to " país para la inversión solar, colocarse firmemente en la pole position para competir en la carrera global para el crecimiento verde de haber desplegado 3GW de energía solar fotovoltaica hasta el final de 2013.
SOPSOLAR están encantados de ser incluidos en el éxito del Reino Unido y están a la espera de algunos proyectos interesantes durante el próximo año.
